Contractor of the Year Award

This new category is intended to offer the public sector the opportunity to recognise the organisation (private or third sector) that they believe has been the most outstanding contractor in terms of not only contract delivery, but also in how they have exceeded the expectations of the customer.

Applications can only be submitted by public sector bodies and the judges will be looking for evidence as to why the nominated contractor should be considered, whether through the delivery of an innovative approach, their approach to tackling sustainable issues, initiatives to build diversity into their supply chain, their engagement with stakeholders and end-users or any other reason that they merit consideration.

This award is intended to recognise outstanding delivery from the contracting community and will focus on what has been achieved, irrespective of the size of the contract or contractor.

Open to: Scottish private sector organisations who have been nominated by a contracting authority.

Timescale: A GO Awards submission in this category must cover activity during the period January 2022 to June 2023.
