Since 2002, the GO Excellence in Public Procurement Awards have showcased those organisations leading the way in public procurement best practice across all UK nations: Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as the cumulative UK National GO Awards.

The GO Awards Scotland – supported by the Scottish Government – recognise the achievement and successes of all involved in the delivery of Scottish public sector services, whether from the public, private or third sectors. Judged by leading procurement figures from across Scotland and the UK, these are the Awards everyone wants to win.

Scotland has led the way in delivering innovative and creative solutions to the many challenges facing the public sector. Many of the organisations and individuals recognised in the GO Awards Scotland have gone onto further success in the UK National GO Awards, including the most recent winner of the GO Excellence Award, Police Scotland.

As public sector procurement and its associated supply chain continue to evolve, the GO Awards Scotland remain a vital and powerful benchmark of progress and development. With new categories that reflect the Scottish and wider UK agenda, these Awards bring fresh currency to recognising outstanding achievements.
